I would be fascinated to actually check the sat fat numbers, because I was shocked to learn that a Beavertail pastry (same-ish festival function) has barely any. Meanwhile, a moderate amount of cheese has many more times.

Went to our town's pumpkin festival tonight and had my yearly allotment of fair food, including a funnel cake. A funnel cake is definitely a once-a-year thing; any more than that and my aorta would absolutely clog.

As someone who has been both fat and skinny, I think the biggest thing that stood out to me was how invisible it feels to be fat. You get ignored by store clerks and wait staff. Just glazed over and passed by. It's part of that looks bias.
It's so empowering just to be SEEN at all.

It’s “how much water did you drink today?” to “ow I have a headache”
It annoys me just how much "turn it off and turn it on again" is actually the way to solve 80% of computer/phone/tech issues. On one hand: Actually great because it's simple and easy. On the other: generations of IT dudes being smug because they were right all along.
Complained about computer speed and husband reminded me to restart it every decade or so. This is violence.
