One of the first new products that will hit the shop under the new business name is KeyBoy. You might remember KeyBoy from like 2 years ago if you’ve followed along for a while. Anyway, it’s coming and will hopefully hit the shop in time for Christmas!

I’m also contemplating selling this BMA530 board if anyone is interested. It’s pretty simple, 3.3V board. BMA530 has a ton of nice features, uses I2C, and I have a circuitpython driver already for it. Probably would be like $10-12 for the board.

I tell ya, living in America is so freeing. Where else could you live, take your kids to the dr for things they have no control over, and then pay $3600+ while the insurance company pockets billions. It feels so good to be free.

Still some test points to add for easy debugging, but layout is largely done. I hid the worst routing in the internal layers so you don’t get to just me lol. 😂

I’ve been looking at this on my desk all day and visually, because of the USB connector, it looks like the board is twisted. It is not twisted, but it’s been messing with my head.

The easy path would have been use ChatGPT for creating the logo of my new company. I hinted at the name previously but this platform is where my handmade logo will premier. Introducing Kavrous Technologies. Created the logo in photoshop elements 18 that I bought many moons ago 😅

I did print a cute little case for it too

Throwback to when I designed this cool ESP32-S3 board. KeyBoy was meant to be a gameboy emulator for my pocket. Might revisit the design someday :)

Lots of potential here.

One of the main downsides of LDO is that they disperse excess through heat and that’s a bit unavoidable in some scenarios. I’ve been discovering that when running IcyBlue FPGA hard, that can cause the 1.2V LDO on board to randomly give up the ghost. Maybe a IcyBlue FPGA Feather V3 in the near future

Take a look closely and tell me what I forgot to do before paying lol

Hi all, long time no post! So I’m starting something new and I want to carry forward my favorite board that I’ve made into this new thing I’m doing. The RPGA Feather is honestly a board I reach for a lot these days, and I’m sorry I dipped so soon after launch 2 years ago.

Decided to rebuild a coffee table I made a few years back. I really like the way it came out.

I’m really stepping up with this LSM6DSV CircuitPython driver *rim shot*

@anneb.bsky.social (hopefully publishing the driver soon, potentially contributing to the official LSM6DS driver 👀)

I tell ya, I really love wireless charging. It is so convenient and even better, it’s easy to create a wireless charging solution for your project too! Personally, I like the BQ51050 though there are a ton of great options out there. :)
