Splashed out on the Cursed Shacklehorde with my prize from the weekend. Looking forward to painting it up- got a scheme in mind which I’ve been waiting for the right models for quite a while and think ghosts will work excellently for it

Realised I missed tournament updates parts 2-4 on Saturday. Whoops. Game 2 was a tough slog against Ironjawz- managed to take it 19-17. Game 3 was my only loss to Blades of the Lurid Dream at 17-15 after another gruelling match, before finishing strong 22-16 against the Soulraid Hunt.

Unbeaten run had to come to an end for the Spitewings… but managed to go 3-1 today and come second overall, so incredibly pleased with that!

Tournament update part 1- comfortable win against Sunblood Prowlers on Fire and Jade 24-11. Ultimately just a bad match up for him really I think…

Got my first tournament in a while tomorrow- giving Spearhead a proper go with my Spitewings. Currently on 100% win rate with them going into it- let’s see how long that lasts!

Always something relaxing about painting terrain- especially when using a method like this one which has some very definite “trust the process” points!

Nothing more disappointing than when a new box of minis arrives (later than it was due) and you eagerly begin assembly… then as you start on the second mini your clippers break 😭

Looking forward to getting the airbrush out again this weekend for some painting. The Sylvaneth Spitewing Flight box I’ve just built should give me an opportunity to both get into Spearhead and to expand my army schemes to include pink, which will please my daughter!

Well that was fun. Couldn’t outgrind seraphon on objectives in their home territory, but then managed to work through Slaves to Darkness and an OBR mirror to go 2-1 for the day. Reaffirmed my love of playing OBR!

I would like to note that I have some painted Lumineth Realmlords already. So when I happen to be working on the Light of Eltharion next on my painting table it isn’t filthy meta chasing of a broken book. Honest.
