tbh we should make a test suite that simulates low end devices you can drop into your CI to notice when you've accidentally nuked 3rd world users.
it's a couple of years old, but this write-up by dan luu is still something i feel like every web developer should go through to understand how difficult stuff they make is to load and use for people

one thing that I hate about ADHD is that I need to be hyper interested, extremely stressed, etc. to really get into something. no gears beyond locked in or kinda listless. this isn't a quirk chungus so wacky thing, it's a character flaw that makes my life worse.
