A few days before Christmas 2016, a grey Land Rover paused in front of a bank of mirrored windows at this checkpoint on the border between France and Switzerland. What happened next revealed just how looted art worms its way into museums.

This, I think, will be my approach for today. And tomorrow. And (hopefully) (at least) the week to come.
Literally begging you to post about Just Some Stuff. We will see the news I absolutely promise. Twenty people will repost the same exact thing about the news. Only you can post about a turtle you saw
i don't mean to come off as rude but we cannot sustain ourselves on outrage and anger forever. i think it's even more important now to post about other things too. even if it gets less engagement. you never know who will find it cool and interesting.

“Cheery was aware that Commander Vimes didn't like the phrase 'The innocent have nothing to fear', believing the innocent had everything to fear, mostly from the guilty but in the longer term even more from those who say things like 'The innocent have nothing to fear'.”

I find a lot of people have a lot of internalized shame about not fitting perfectly into clothes. It is absolutely not about you, your body, your shape. It’s that somebody somewhere set a standard that is the same as nobody else’s standards.

Director Phoebe Kemp said: "Twelfth Night already toys with gender and performance – it feels like Shakespeare wrote it for us"

Why did we become convinced that the answer was always “disruption”, when experience tells us that the achievement of civilisation is the opposite? The move from chaos to organisation. The move from vulnerability to stability.
Move carefully and fix things.
