When your mac app has no dock icon, the update window can appear behind everything else

I added a notification next to the Klipto’s floating quick-access cat so people would notice the update at all

Klipto 1.4.1: On-device AI. On macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence, the new AI chip (or ⌘I) opens a prompt bar under a note or a preview: “make it shorter”, “turn into a list”, “fix the grammar”. The answer replaces the selection in place, ⌘Z brings the original back, and nothing leaves your Mac.

Small Finder shortcut: select any file and press ⌥⌘C to copy its full path

meta’s muse just landed on mac and can work across files, mail, messages, notes and calendar

good reminder to audit what already has access: system settings → privacy & security → accessibility, full disk access, and screen recording. old apps tend to stay there forever

Tiny mac shortcut I wish I knew earlier: select any text and press ⌥Esc. Macos reads it aloud. It’s incredibly convenient for listening to a message or web page content in the background while you work. Enable it in system settings → accessibility → read & speak → speak selection

The most interesting challenge wasn’t adding all these capabilities. It was keeping Klipto simple
