My rant about AI--some of this there is just no way that it benefits anyone. Can you name one good reason why someone should be able to generate realistic photos of someone? The only thing I can see that being used for is for nefarious purposes.

I still have to do a little testing internationally but I only lose 3 days in the school year--not 5 weeks
between 3 weeks of iready (fall/winter/spring) and 2 weeks of state testing in may, we're losing 5 full weeks to testing this year 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 (laugh to keep from crying)
In my district, students in English I & II took a full state standardized test in mid-December. They’ll take another one tomorrow. There was a two week break in between. Nonsensical. #EduSky

New — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) was told this week by DOJ that they'd lose their funding if the org didn't remove any mentions of LGBTQIA+ issues from their public materials, I've learned. Staff were told they need to deadname trans kids in their reports to comply.

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.
