Republicans have had control of all three branches of government for the last 2 years.

There is no longer any excuse that holds water about inheritance or leftovers from other administrations.

They broke everything. You know it. I know it. They know it.

Don't let them lie to your face.

if the tolkien estate put it in the newspaper that every dollar they got from lotr was going towards racial segregation and they routinely funded legislation to that end and sued organizations that were against segregation, i'd be a very shitty person if i didn't drop all of it like it was on fire

If you say "I don't see the point in voting" when it comes to the USA 2026 election, allow me to say with deepest love and all due respect:

Please fuck off all the way into the sun.

My mom got duped by internet scammers last week. Got something on her computer that produced a pop-up telling her to call a certain number. Despite the fact that my brother and I have both talked to her about these kind of scams before, she called.

Can’t eat a sandwich until you subscribe to sandwiches. Can’t eat today’s sandwich until it has applied daily sandwich updates. Sandwich now has adverts even though you paid for ad-free sandwich. Can pay again to have less sandwich adverts. Now you can eat the sandwich, but it’s smaller.

When Hobby Lobby texted the Devil 12 times the next day, the Devil said, “Had a nice time, of course I did, I’m just really busy right now. What? Sure I remember you name…er…champ!”

Hobby Lobby always blows it by being so needy and stealing precious artifacts.

Me: I love holding my newborn while she sleeps.
Also me: There's gotta be a way to do this without utterly fucking my back.

Dear FedEx:

In the last two weeks, you have delivered three packages to our house that were addressed to other people on our street.

There are only six houses total on the entire length of our street.

How is your accuracy rate this bad.

You ever meet someone who says shit like "I'm glad my taxes paid for your meal"

Like bitch stfu, first of all your tax payments are not more important than everyone else's and second its really weird that a hungry person being able to eat upsets you.

Today we honor the memories of those who were lost on 9/11 by doing what America's attackers and detractors could never do. By building. We build an America that is bigger. More inclusive. More empowering. More just.

Things I was afraid of as a child:

1. "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" sequence from Fantasia.
2. Lightning, after a bad storm experience in the Ochoco Mountains.
3. Ceiling-mounted ventilation fans, particularly if they were old and rattly.
Things I was afraid of as a child:

1. Depths (heights are fine, it's depths I continue to have an issue with)
2. Chickens (chickens are vicious little fuckers)
3. Centipedes
Things I was frightened of as a child:

1. Heights (tall bridges, roller coasters, high dive)
2. Spiders
3. Sleeping alone with the lights off

Sixty years ago, a trailblazing sci-fi series that wouldn't have existed if Lucille Ball hadn't intervened, and Gene Roddenberry imagined a better society, capable of dealing with whatever existed where no one had gone before, took flight. Happy 60th Anniversary, Star Trek!👽🚀
