I’ve had this pod for years (more than 4 as the husband was alive when I got it), it’s taken until the last few weeks until one of the cats have decided they do actually like to hide away in it 😅… see, patience is a virtue 😂😂

Why on earth did i think it was a good idea to cycle home today in 34c ? You can see from how I slowed down how exhausting it was! The route has barely any shade. I put suncream on before I left, but still feel like I’ve gotten burned 🥵 Lesson learned!

After a lazy wknd, I felt I had to overcompensate in exercise. So I cycled home from work via the opticians in the town to the SE of me, adding ⅓ onto the journey. The arm of my glasses broke this AM, and need completely replacing 🙄 lucky i have my old pair or I’d be wearing 🕶️ for the next week!

We’ve had to ask for a room change at our hotel because next door’s family are sick and were coughing all night waking my friend up. 70’s built hotel, so no sound proofing. At 120€/night (booked 2-3 months in advance) it’s pretty poor. However, nice surroundings! #Slovakia #TatryMountains #Travel

If you’re Berlin based and want a good quick ish food recommendation, I highly suggest you try Ham Ham Manakish in Lichtenberg, near station. Got all this for less than 20€ w/ drinks. The Fatta (far right) was ultra yummy, chickpea, roasted cashews and pomegranate! Sehr lecker 😋🤤

Whilst Stalin was a different kind of dictator/fascist himself, I still think he would be ashamed at the reversal of Russian ideology under Putin, especially after they lost so many soldiers fighting the Nazis 😕

Flix said my train had been moved forward 2 hours to 9:33. Whilst waiting the 2 hours for my delayed train, it seems that my original train was still running ?!?! 😡 seriously wtf?! I’ve spent longer waiting for this train than it takes to drive to Berlin 😑🙄
