US States should be able to do the same. Congress talked this issue to death for decades. Pick one: standard or daylight savings, and quit messing with our health and wellbeing twice a year.
British Columbia residents will never change their clocks again after March 8, when the province switches to permanent daylight saving time. BC's intention with the change is to improve health, reduce disruptions, simplify scheduling and give residents an extra hour of light during the winter.
