I live in Michigan, I voted for him (as I did in the 2018 gubernatorial primary), I do not believe that I made a mistake. I knew what I was doing: Voting in support of my own interests, I’m sorry you don’t share them, but it most certainly was not a mistake, it’s what the power of the vote is for.
I think the second thing is worse too. So I hope Dems pressure their candidate - who won by the skin of his teeth - to be more moderate and win that seat. I think it was a mistake to nominate him; don't compound it by saying "he's in good shape for the general!" I don't think he is.

The Tigers are about to be 2 1/2 games out of a playoff spot. What the hell are we letting 12 teams into the playoffs for if a team is going to trade one of the best pitchers in baseball when it's 2 1/2 games out of a playoff spot?

I hate Haley Stevens with the passion of 950 Suns. The entry point to my hatred of Republicans is 1,000 Suns and Mike Rogers is well past that; If Stevens wins her election this week I will be voting for her in November without a second thought and patiently waiting for Slotkin’s 2030 primary.
And this is true for all sides. If you're hoping a progressive or a moderate loses a general election because you don't want to validate that side of the coalition, you're not taking beating Republicans seriously enough. We just need to win as big a victory as possible.
