"What am I reading lately" hmm uhh. Wikipedia entry list of Mesopotamian deities. Wikipedia entry list of fire deities. Wikipedia entry list of wind deities. Wikipedia entry Cambrian explosion. Wikipedia entry Greek primordial deities. That's the main stuff right now. And lots of their hyperlinks

Trying to sketch my 3d prints of plastic chairs. Fond memories in such simple things. I understand why people are emotional over the Bad Bunny album cover.

I tried sketching one of the turkeys that came to visit. I think I want to focus on constructing things with simple forms.

The end of the fiscal year crunch is over. Hoping I can free up more time for myself. #fish #sketch

Heya!

A friend lent me his iPad to try digital drawing for the first time, so here’s my first attempt at a digital drawing!

I have a lot to learn, so if anybody has any tips or tricks, please let me know! <3

(Also, it’s pretty obvious I haven’t used color in years, huh)

From an interview I did re. publishing/art organizing:

I think a lot of people assume they won’t be taken seriously if they do something that isn’t at the invitation of an institution. But we create our own authority for our projects based on the level of seriousness that goes into them.

I know Spring is truly here when the roaming gangs of turkeys start cause traffic in the streets.

Making time to doodle more, digital tools makes me feel like a cat with kitten mittens on.

I was really drawn to a lot of the ceramic figures I saw in the Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. Mainly used the small figure on the left as reference.

I'm not familiar with digital art tools, but I am paying tribute to zoombinis.

R.I.P. to all the zoombinis that perished to entertain and educate me.

“Everyone should be allowed to carry a gun for their safety but the government can murder you in the street if you have a gun” is an incredible endpoint for the conservative moment

Got some new toys for Christmas. My dearly beloved gifted me watercolors, and a Pentel Pocket Brush. Never tried these before but trying it has been fun!

First day that in my neck of the woods we get a blanket of soft stillness snuggly laid over the colors of autumn. I don't think it will stick yet, the winter wanes against the rays of the pale morning sun like a shadow cowering from light. A great morning treat nonetheless.

We have to take care of our communities in these terrible times. "...when I see an actual flesh-and-blood worker in conflict with his natural enemy, the policeman, I do not have to ask myself which side I'm on." - "Homage to Catalonia" by George Orwell.

More from "Homage to Catalonia" by George Orwell. "Whichever way you took it it was a depressing outlook. But it did not follow that the Government was not worth fighting for as against the more naked and developed Fascism of Franco and Hitler."

Finally reaching the end of "Homage to Catalonia" by George Orwell. "...the international prestige of Fascism, which for a year or two past had been haunting me like a nightmare. Since 1930 the Fascists had won all the victories; it was time they got a beating, it hardly mattered from whom."
