Had to take Dougal to the vet to get follow up bloodwork after finding out he has a hyperactive thyroid last year. Needless to say, he was not happy.
But fear not, he curled into my lap after this and we snuggled while his vet got down on the floor with us for the exam so he was more comfortable.

Currently in line to get this beauty signed! Love the talk and had so much fun listening to @sea-ya-later.bsky.social as always! Now to wait for the Special Edition in October. Have I bought every format of this book? Yes.

Some bird studies i did a while back. Thinking about throwing a bunch of animal types in a jar and randomly pulling to practice. What kind of animals should I throw in?

Burnout is weird. I want to draw, I have so many ideas! But when I try to draw, those ideas decide to play hide-and-seek while I just draw random lines, hoping something will stick.
Burn out isn't always a lack of motivation/ideas. Sometimes, it's an inability to action those ideas. And that's ok.

So i finally got myself one of Geoffrey Sui's sticker books! They are so dang cute! But what's this?!
This is the sticker that came with it and I can not communicate the feral cute-aggression screech that came out of me when I saw it.
He's itsgeoffrey on Instagram! Please go check out his stuff.

Does anyone else like messy sketches? I love the scribbly, what-even-is-that phase of art. Here are some ideas I may or may not do something with. Lol

This baby can fits so much frustration in it. *slaps hood* linear value drawings look so awesome when they are done but the hours and hours of work to get there... phew the mental breakdown on the shadows alone. Lol but I made it through. #drawing #Arizona #traditionalart #pencil #statepark
