A technical issue may prevent you from taking the exam. The College Board has stated that to ensure that you can take the test on Saturday, you must restart the Bluebook app on Friday.

#SAT students: Note that the Bluebook app will be down for about 48 hours in a planned outage beginning Thursday morning, so plan your use of the app accordingly! This may be for the addition of practice PSAT exams, which College Board has indicated are coming soon. We'll know more by the weekend!

ETS, the company that had at one time written the #SAT, has purchased #ACT. There's no way to know for sure what this means for the direction of the ACT exam, but it's noteworthy that ETS's other exams are online and adaptive. The exit of private equity from the company is welcome!

While it has not been formally approved by the NY Board Of Regents, there's an increasing momentum towards adoption of a new set of graduation standards. Most notably, passing Regents exams would no longer stand as a graduation requirement for classes graduating as early as 2030.
