When I was growing up, it was a thing to run errands and go to the store (often more than one) on the weekends. But so many grown adults I know these days don't run errands or adult at all. To me, it was a part of life and sometimes enjoyable, even if it was annoying and expensive.

We had to clear out our kitchen and bathroom cabinets for the pest control visit today and they cancelled for tomorrow. Are you even kidding me? This has been an ordeal and they're making it worse.

Fully electric aviation has some major challenges (mostly: batteries are heavy and don't get lighter as they get used up) but I love the idea of decreasing aircraft emissions through a hybrid approach, perhaps as a step toward new, clever solutions for fully electric air transport in the future.

It's bad enough that kids can't read and don't want to read anything longer than a 30-second video or a headline. And that the education is terrible in the U.S. But now our new neighbors below us have a high school dropout for whatever reason. This generation is toast.
