That the partisan Supreme Court ruled birthright citizenship, something expressly in the Constitution, is constitutional isn’t the story. The fact that such an obvious conclusion was in doubt is the story. We have a very corrupt Supreme Court.

You can understand Trump's confusion here, as his exposure to "Christians" has mostly been a collection of grasping televangelists and other assorted religious conmen who regularly gather to lay their hands on him and call him the chosen instrument of God as the cameras roll.
Maybe Trump did not comprehend the gravity of the matter since he only started hanging out with conservative Christians when it became politically advantageous for him to do so.

I worked a 60 day stretch over the holidays because staff were sick or had died.
