We are inviting you to take part in the Areas of Extra Cost Survey. This is an important new survey for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). This survey is about the barriers people may face that make it harder to take part in society. The survey will ask about the extra costs that you may face to overcome these barriers. The results will be used to understand how Personal Independence Payment (PIP) can best help with extra living costs. You have been randomly chosen from a list of everyone who gets PIP. We have invited more than 60,000 people to take part. You do not have to take part. Your choice, or the answers you provide if you take part, will not affect the benefits you get. No one working on your PIP assessment case will know that you have taken part or see your answers. You will get a £10 online gift voucher as a thank you for taking part. How to take part: You can take part online or by phone.
