Some Sunday Funday Absurdity in collage in the studio today!

Don't have a title for this one yet nor anything inspiring to say about it as it was really just an exploration in digital collage technique, but pretty stoked as to how it all came together!

I finished this photoshop composite collage today! When I set out to start it a few weeks ago, my thought was, "what if Alberto Vargas and Salvador Dali had a queer love child. What would he create?!"

And from that thought, this piece was born.

Sun spills gold on the skin of the earth,
cracks open the frost, wakes up the dirt.
I breathe in light, I exhale stone—
this body remembers, this body has grown.

Ostara, wheel turns, I rise too—
soft, wild, breaking through.

The oracle weeps in colors unseen, her gaze locked in eternity. A peacock sings prophecy, a statue reaches, but time does not yield. The pomegranates split—fate has spoken. Will you listen?

The owls had always been there, watching. Their eyes glowed, reflecting memories long buried. The lighthouse pulsed in the distance, guiding the lost. Then, the door creaked open. Some doors, once unlocked, never close again.

He sat between worlds—one of flesh, one of dreams. The jellyfish swayed behind him, its tendrils whispering forgotten truths. The mushrooms at his feet pulsed with knowing. He was neither here nor there, only on the edge of becoming.

The owl watched as he sat in the quiet after the fire, skin bathed in moonlight, shadows of flames still flickering in his mind. “Rebirth,” the owl seemed to whisper. He exhaled, letting the past burn away.

They told him what freedom was—hard, unyielding, uniform. But he knew better. His freedom was flesh, sweat, and pride woven into the flag. He stood, unashamed, a new kind of patriot. Real liberty leaves no one behind. 🇺🇸🌈
