I got to do something incredibly rare yesterday and it was very cool.

During my performance at the CMS Central Region Conference in Lawrence, all three composers were in attendance. Thanks to Snow Kim, Kyle Vanderburg and Jonathon Erickson!

Today's composer, George Walker, is a Pulitzer prize winner for his 1996 compositions: Lilacs. His son, Gregory TS Walker, is also a prolific composer, but has not yet written any music for bassoon.
