Honestly half of IT anxiety is "is someone still in here who shouldn't be." Root shows you people who haven't touched anything in months but still have seats. Not dramatic. Just… there. So you can decide if you care today or next week.

You know how every person at work connects random apps to their Google login and then nobody knows what half of them even are? Root just lists that stuff. You glance at it, go "oh yeah we still use that" or "wait what is that," and move on with your day.

My latest side project is a Claude Code plugin that teaches you languages with flashcards that rotate in your status line while Claude thinks. Costs nothing.

Works with GenZ English, Spanish, Italian, and Advanced English (so you can learn to read big words good)

By the time your team is 30 people, you've got 7 systems, 210 accounts, and somewhere between 3 and 20 ex-employees still in them.

Someone has to know who's where. Notice what's off. Decide what to do.

That someone is you.

We've been working on something big... 👀

Small companies are dramatically underserved. People scattered across tools, former workers with access, and the one handling IT is also the ops person, the office manager, or the founder.

Well, pretty soon, we're going to make your life a whole lot easier.

Someone asked if I'm building agents that take people's jobs. "Empower not replace" breaks down when you look at who actually gets empowered. Automating work for the CFO buys them time. Automating for the average contractor makes them obsolete...

There's a new "best" AI like every week now. Switching over to the "best" one every week isn't sustainable. The trick is knowing that each model is "best" at different things. I personally use Claude Code for Dev, Gemini for web/media, and ChatGPT when I have a random question.

Oh mannn... I've apparently been in Georgia so long that I say "fur" instead of "for" 💀

Sad to hear about Mikeal Rogers’ passing. He was a big part of the node community and participated actively in the decentralized web movement. Thinking of his friends and family tonight and wishing them peace in this difficult time b.h4x.zip/mikeal/

If you don’t know why you’re building, it doesn’t matter how good you get at building it.

Why We Start With "Why"
If your company is swimming in tools but still struggling to move forward, the missing piece probably isn’t another system — it’s clarity.

Cancel your next meeting and go for a run instead. Or whatever it is you do. *Enter recovery mode* 🤣

The fastest way out of fog isn’t to stand there thinking harder. It’s to move until you can see clearly again.

Cool. But honestly—I feel like every cool tech wave eventually just bends towards conversion. "No ads" sounds like a win but when the tool knows your preferences, your convos, your intent… They don’t need ads. They have you.

TBH the reason that I prefer traditional 2FA over Google's new Passkey option is that I genuinely want to disincentivize people from trying to physically remove biometrics from my body 😅

ChatGPT is just a distraction from the real takeover… 👀
EU nanny state rant i didn't foresee, but here we are:

In 🇺🇸 the washer/dryer finish up, beep 1-2 times, and... move on. You have the freedom to ignore it.

But after a year+ moving around this side of the Atlantic, they BEEP UNTIL YOU SUBMIT.

It's over. The robots are already in charge here.

It’s terrifying to me how quickly things can change. 2 years ago, we were celebrating Schuylars birthday on a rooftop in ATL; today we’ll go there to honor her memory.

I miss you, Sky. I love you and I’m praying for you still…
