I take no satisfaction (OK, maybe a little) at saying from day one that Borthwick was completely unqualified to be England HC, and being continually proved right.

12 game run and some top drawer individual talent has obscured somewhat that Borthwick ball is what it always was. Players picked out of position. Aimless kicking. Blunt force attacking scheme that makes your average U14 side look like peak era NZ. A man woefully out of his depth at this level.

England really paying for that abysmal call on the Yellow card- clearest release you will see all game. I like Amaushkeli a lot, but a honking decision that has meaningfully impacted the game.
