Thinking about how many appearances Bandana Waddle Dee made before donning his namesake bandananda. The original Super Star/Fun Pak has an arena match against a lone Dee I suspect was him considering BWD has a fight in the remake that plays out the same.

Something I noticed fooling around with SMAS. POW blocks in Subcon look normal at first, but when you pick them up the O is misaligned for one frame. Even stranger, the misalignment persists upon returning to the level proper.
