Thanks for your great question. As the state's chief elections official, the SoS has significant influence on the discussion and implementation of democracy in our state. The SoS campaign itself is statewide, offering broader debate compared to that in a single leg district.

Maybe time to stop terrorizing chickens for their eggs in the first place? www.peta.org/issues/anima... #GoVegan #plantbased #animalcruelty
Chickens Used for Food | PETA
Chickens are arguably the most abused animal on the planet. In the United States, more than 7 billion chickens are killed for their flesh each year, and 452 million hens are used for their eggs.

Polluters Pay is a basic principle of environmental justice. Corporations will never VOLUNTARILY stop destroying our shared climate. They are motivated only by fear of fiscal losses.

Democrats like to pretend they are interested in the environment…let Gavin Newsom prove it by getting SB1247 passed

If you are not having a debate about enacting legislative elections by proportional representation to enable a viable multi-party democracy in the United States -- so that all positions win their fair representation in office -- then you're not actually having a real debate. #electoralreform

I'm have been in politics. for a long time. Especially when you are an activist or politician, etc., there is an expectation that you *should* have an opinion on everything. But wisdom when in a public position - is to go slow, listen and learn, especially when its not an area of your expertise.
