The ingrained behaviour of NHS managers, as betrayed by scandal after scandal, inquiry after inquiry, is that service users should just shut up, stop moaning and be grateful because they get treated for free.
Until this attitude is eradicated, nothing will change.

I would like to see at least one exam at school taken under open book and open internet conditions. Let’s see just what kids can do when they’re given access to all the tools. The questions would range across domains of knowledge and be necessarily difficult. Might ensure the tools get taught.

Just to tailgate the zeitgeist, an adjustment that has to be made is to bar employers from using AI to assess applicants suitability for employment. This is a pernicious, dehumanising start to building the relationship required between employer and employee.
The NEETs issue isn’t going to be solved by one big bang change, rather it’ll take lots of little adjustments to do. The bigger things that have to change are attitudes, the main one being the difficulty of moving between vocational and academic pathway at the lack of equity in how each…

A daily whole school act of predominately Christian worship is currently the law. Schools don’t do that either.

This is a terrible failure of policing, from the seeming lack intelligence to the failure to stop the action to the lack of arrests to the crass statement afterwards.
