The two foxes face off, heads lowered and growling, with their tails raised up bristling in a threat display. Narrator: The competition for the best foraging grounds is fierce. The grey fox yields first, abandoning the basket as Red chases them off. Narrator: Territory must be defended, for family honour and to provide for one's offspring. Coming home, Red is once again her regular sweet and cheery self, offering her own mushroom basket to Blue and Green. Red: Take the rest to your grandma, sweetie! Blue: Thanks, mom.

2 blue jays on the ground, one is about to eat an insect. The first jay says "I don't know how you cat eat grasshoppers" the second says "mm?". First goes "I can't eat anything with a cute face". The second jay appears confused "but... grasshoppers aren't––". We are looking down from the blue jay's perspective to see that the grasshopper has big eyes and a cute little smile. The final frame shows the blue jay gasping in surprise.
