They’re going to threaten them under the guise of “election integrity”. Something along the lines of “if you cheat, we will find out and you will pay for it”. “Cheating” in reality will be not cheating though.

Prepping the officials and media for gradual escalation. People stop to think whether it COULD have happened, even when NO EVIDENCE is provided. They're trying to shift the burden of proof to the election officials, where many do not have the energy or conviction to defend the process.
