Zipfiles really are so magic.
I just downloaded a couple of dozen of 40 mb files. Chuck them in cloud storage, unzip them.
20 min later, I find out that my internet is running slow because my computer is uploading 45 gb worth of map data.

that thing where you're potentially interested in the content of a recommended youtube video but not trusting enough to have it etched your history ... reading the transcript (AI generated or not) is generally Good Enough in these situations and you can skim read it to get the salient points ...

GPS watch unexpectedly decides to not connect to phone ... I think everyone in IT has a well-trodden escalation path for dealing with these sorts of issues ... thankfully I managed to resolve it before needing to hard-reset the watch and losing my unsaved data ...

if ever there's a track to really catch in my throat it's Gotye's "Bronte" ... still feel compelled to give it the time it deserves when it turns up in a shuffle play but damnit if it doesn't undo me every time
