ICE has fallen out of the headlines but July marked the largest number of migrant detentions ever on record. Five migrants have died in ICE custody in the last two months. It's also currently impossible to legally migrate to this country, as 100% of visa applications have been paused.

I'm excited to check out this exhibition! Some of the imagery is so dark and creepy, with textures I want to see in person. Also intrigued by the range of different styles, including the bright colors. Can't wait.

During the American Revolution, Cuffee Saunders (born in Guyana) was an enslaved medical assistant who served with the Patriots. He treated the wounded & purchased his freedom with his enlistment bounty. His son, Prince Saunders (pictured), a Dartmouth grad, was Haiti's attorney general.

Babies were found with dead brain tissue similar to what follows cancer and the kind of bleeding seen after a stroke.
