The claim that this could be knit in 5 hours gave me a good laugh before I even cast on, 22hours was closer to the mark. Even so, this was a quick and satisfying knit.

Abby Road Kikki Merino yarn from Spotlight turned out to be much softer than expected.

A very quick and easy sewing project, but such a satisfying result. Love how this pattern uses bias pattern layout to create the diagonal design, which also means the v neck is on grain and won’t stretch out over time.

Very happy with how this dress turned out. Fabric from @rathdownefabrics from a collection they got of leftover @Retrospecd fabrics. This striped pineapple print was just perfect for this pattern!

I got an icord maker to speed up the project. Even once I got the hang of it, it still took more than 30 minutes to turn a ball of yarn into icord.
I cut out a base bag from stiff synthetic felt. Sewed the zip in the top and one side seam before giving up and finished everything with hot glue!

A vintage #telephonecordpurse is a bit outside my budget at the moment, so time to get crafty!
