Serious question, I don’t know and I may never know, but does truth social have this many pictures of peoples’ pets? On @bsky.app it doesn’t matter who you follow, you’re going to be seeing a lot of pets.

plenty of 20th century examples by my 19th century-pilled mind goes immediately to the railroads, which were HUGELY DISRUPTIVE and deeply enmeshed in politics in ways quite analogous to silicon valley and AI

My girlfriend at the time was German and her take was: “Yeah I’m German. We get nervous when all of the flags come out.”
There are already articles circulating trying to rewrite history and say America was great after 9/11 and united and thoughtful and just a reminder that that period was marked by intense and insanely racist hatred, paranoia, and a frothing desire for unhinged violence and oppression.

I cannot really explain to someone who hasn't been steeped in this stuff for awhile how sudden and total the "go to college and get a good job" edict has collapsed. It's a vaccuum. And we know how nature feels about those. All we are throwing in there at the moment is A.I.
