Currently, Library and Archives Canada (LAC) receives $208 million from the federal government. It will see a permanent annual cut of $22.1 million, which means spending cuts of nearly $50 million over the next three years.

Apple Music recently mangled my music library, mixing up albums, artwork and tracks. It would no longer let me play some tracks from CDs I'd already purchased, despite previous upload and sync via iTunes Match. I've now ripped some CDs to a standalone music player and finally I can enjoy them again!

There are some albums that represented a darker side of 'Britpop' - which was never just about British guitar bands and some dance music indie fans were 'allowed' to like anyway - that get conveniently forgotten about now. Life by The Cardigans was one.
