The value of Graham Platner is that right up until all his red flags came toppling down upon him is that he is the most naked example of the amount of grace & credibility Simply Being White grants you. Compared to Abdul El-Sayed, who has to re-earn every ounce of credibility he has on a daily basis.

Yet another issue where every single person who touched it needs to end up in jail for us to have any semblance of the rule of law. You cannot have a functional democracy where the government creates a plan to literally throw away votes from places that don't support the incumbent party.
This is pretty fucking wild. I had assumed in a worst case scenario he would target blue zip codes and toss ballots based on technicalities but this is even worse than I imagined.

Reminder that A LOT of so-called porn addiction cases in media were often conservative public figures who were caught doing stuff like sexual harassment or banging in public spaces and tried covering their ass by blaming a "porn addiction" for their personal incapacity of keeping it in their pants.
Daily reminder that “porn addiction” is not a real thing, and is an invention of the far-right, which they use to demonize both the healthy usage of porn, and to call for censorship of LGBTQ speech.

So the key findings of Amnesty's report was that these anti-rights groups have massive funding, that it comes largely from far-right christian groups in the US, and that they're abusing UK charity law to misrepresent themselves as pro-rights organisations.
