You'd think the fact that the son of the President of the "party of family values" 2nd marriage is to the daughter of Epstein's banker and it was funded by a Rusisan oligarch involved in the mass kidnap of Ukrainian kids during a KGB agent's illegal war

Would be bigger news..

Below: the James Talarico interview that the FCC, in its infinite imbecility, forbade Jimmy Kimmel from airing and will now get vastly more views than the Great American State Fair-sized debacle that was the GOP midterm convention.

So the current president is promising Americans $5k, interesting 🤔 considering he already owes us
$9k from previous promises over the
last 2 years!
You have to be a cult member or a fool to believe anything he says!

Sen. @mallorymcmorrow.bsky.social understands the stakes. Mike Rogers moved to Florida and got rich off the corporations he was supposed to be regulating while in Congress. Now he expects us to let him take another turn through the revolving door.

Hate to break it to you, but a child living in poverty does, in fact, deserve a birthday cake.
If it was bought with SNAP, fine. It does not hurt you in any way, shape, or form and you should not be upset that something as small as a damn cake brought a smile to that child's face.
Have compassion.

In August there were "federal observers" at the polls...

They're planning to send ICE out on our streets during the November election...

So we have a responsibility to make sure that this election result is TOO BIG TO RIG.

Huge corporations like Amazon, Walmart, and Uber are among the top employers of SNAP and Medicaid recipients.

Meanwhile, their CEOs are raking in multi-million dollar pay packages.

How is this not a bigger scandal?

This is part of a multi-million-dollar effort he has made to invest in community properties in order to preserve local institutions and keep them serving the communities they were built for.

Gloria Steinem's essays, organizing, and institutions like Ms. magazine reshaped American life for women. She understood that progress would provoke resistance, because, as she so eloquently put it...

"The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off."
Gloria Steinem, Personification of the Feminist Movement, Dies at 92
She challenged sexist assumptions, helping women develop a sense of self-worth and gain a measure of equality at work, at home and in society at large.
