The Epstein Files Transparency Act is a law, passed by Congress on November 19 with an overwhelming vote. Complying with it was not optional. The Department of Justice did not comply.

I want to make sure this is very clear.

Just a reminder: Venezuela's oil has NEVER belonged to the United States.
Trump's blockade against Venezuela is for "our oil." Experts say it isn't the US's to take.
The president referred to President Nicolás Maduro’s government as a “hostile regime."

I was wondering what Mamdani's first executive order would be, and I'm not disappointed by this.

He has wiped off the books EVERY Eric Adams executive order issued on or after September 26, 2024, the day Adams was indicted on federal bribery charges.

While parallels exist between the colonization of Palestine and Turtle Island, each Indigenous peoples’ experience was distinct. To learn more about the specific history of the Indigenous people whose land you’re on, go to native-land.ca.

Colonial control over lives, and denial of self-determination and sovereignty. Erasure of native history and culture. Ideologies of entitlement to, and justification for, these atrocities.

Supporting Palestinians’ right to return and right to self-determination in their homeland goes hand in hand with supporting Indigenous people’s demand for #LandBack —for restoration of Indigenous sovereignty and stewardship, and respect for their deep connection to and knowledge of their lands.

On this day, Indigenous people and allies confront the settler-colonial narratives of “Thanksgiving,” observing it instead as a National Day of Mourning.

Settler colonialism is not something to be thankful for. On this National Day of Mourning, I think of the millions of Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island that were slaughtered, the cultures that were erased, and the languages that were silenced. Thanksgiving is not something to be celebrated.

Really looks like the United States is about to launch a regime change war against Venezuela with:

-No casus belli
-No authorization from Congress
-No allies or international support
-No plan for a post-Maduro Venezuela
-No preparation for any sort of stabilization or containment of the fallout
