In 4th grade, I read Wood Song. My obsession with dogs, dog sledding, and Alaska began. Gary Paulsen showed me a whole new world! I never did get the chance to run a team or go to Alaska. #48, Woods Runner, because why not? Not dogs or sledding but still a nostalgic author.
