Yeah, disappointed in Stross, here we are living the early bits of accelerando and he's in deep denial. Peter Watts doesn't blog much about AI but I saw him in a panel and they used GPT's voice mode during the discussion and he was very impressed (And this was 2 years ago) "We're there"
