okay then, scrap all knife laws. the laws are either justified or not; a bunch of MPs this week have popped up to say they aren't, so they should be stricken from the books.

but, having different laws for groups based on the statistical risk of crime for them is really, really not a path britain should be continuing down.

in this country, we support equality before the law. of course we should not have any exemptions for religious faith. anything else is unbritish.
