From describing the border as a “sieve” for fentanyl and illegal immigrants to slamming Canada’s retaliatory tariffs, PSPP’s rightward pivot echoes American-style populism. What happened to the man who identified as a “progressive and democrat” just ten years ago? https://ow.ly/p27u50ZSvim

carney is a climate villain
As communities across Canada are reeling from a summer of breathing in wildfire smoke, evacuating from their homes, and navigating extreme heat and flooding, PM Carney is trying to keep youth and advocacy groups from having their day in court over Canada’s failure to have a credible climate plan.

The CBC should start calling Trump's boat bombings acts of terrorism.

Since the Republicans (and Conservatives) are so keen for them to editorialize about that kind of thing.

And these murders do fit most definitions of terrorism.

beyond the bigotry i find this to be a completely bizarre worldview. what do you mean that the actual material forces of history are immaterial to your ideas of national development? are you fucking stupid? (the answer is yes)
the context is this confnas fucker talking about how africa being poor & europe wealthy means whites must be innately more intelligent

(& dismissing any notion that the legacy of the atlantic slave trade, or global racial empire, might have a role as "mystical injustice")

Guys I hate to break it to you, but under capitalism, automation improves productivity but doesn't actually reduce the amount of time workers must work to survive.

Instead, productivity gains are captured as profit.

Only worker organizing will reduce our labor time.

Yes, this applies to 'AI'
