My fear is the consultant class still doesn't realize anything less than this and Democrats lose a generation to voting doesn't matter cynicism. Which would be an entirely fair conclusion.
The starting point for post-MAGA Reconstruction, imo, should be like the public tribunals in S Africa after apartheid, or Guatemala's post civil war Historical Clarification Commission.

I'm trying really hard to get the "Who is problematic to take money from or campaign with" discussion to admit the obvious about Elon.
We couldn't get elected Dems involved in the Tesla Takedown, one of the greatest non-cooperation movements in recent history. There's a serious issue here that's going to have to be litigated in the 2028 primary. They're all scared of donors, especially Elon.
