The company that makes the majority of packaged bias binding has already gone out of business. It’s going to get harder and harder to find craft materials.
I feel like people don’t know about the looming catastrophe in the crafting world that is private equity, or at least don’t understand the extent to which it’s a problem.
Private equity owns a large chunk of places people get crafting supplies, particularly yarn, and we are heading for a cliff.

But Alex Pretti wasn't in a vehicle when they shot him. Neither was Julio Cesar Sosa Celis. Nor Keith Porter Jr.

It doesn’t matter if the man killed by ICE in Maine was authorized to work in the United States or not. It doesn’t matter if he had a social security or not. ICE should not be killing anyone. Period.

It will be a few years before I can go back to England but I would like to visit ancestral graves while there and, fortunately, Poole has a very close to one of the areas a branch of my family tree came from. I need to remember this museum when the time comes.

I do not think it is possible to do this. The world today is so different from the one I grew up in. If you add cell phones into a story that doesn't have them, there are so many "why didn't they--" questions that arise.

So many people urge us to vote if we are dissatisfied with our democracy. And yes voting matters. But as today’s Supreme Court ruling tells us, it’s not that simple. Not everyone who should have the right to vote can exercise that right.

As a Christian, I don't think federal agencies should be referring to "Christ, our Savior" in any context. I don't need my government to validate my faith. That's why it's called faith. More importantly, my government shouldn't be invalidating the religions of other Americans.
