If I had any doubt about electric cars in the 90's it was put to rest when I took a test ride on a DIY truck in West Palm Beach. Idling was so smooth I literally asked the guy: "Is it running?"
Electric car sales are high, but only because gas is so expensive. If they find a way to artificially reduce the price of gas, people will say EVs aren't necessary. But EVs are necessary to protect us from wildly fluxuating gas prices.

I was a manufacturers rep for a number of Chinese and Japanese importers in the 80-90's. When we went to a Chinese restaurant my guys would ask for the chef to come out so they could order the real stuff. And with a Filipino friend he preferred Chinese over Filipino. I'm hungry.
