My idea of smart glasses would be ones that automatically adjusts focal length based on where you are looking and adjusts the tint to maintain a constant light level and contrast for maximum eye comfort.. not one that has cameras built in.

ICE is still refusing to follow through on its pledge to equip its officers with body cameras. Their goal is without body camera footage, accountability becomes much harder. If you witness an interaction, remember to keep your camera rolling and document what you can safely.

There’s a reason they’re targeting libraries. They don’t want you educated. They don’t want you to have a nuanced view of history. Or to read novels that will give you empathy. Or to know about inspiring women, Black or LGBTQ people. They want you intellectually small and easy to manipulate.

We have to shift from only making the case for sympathetic individuals (as vital as that is!) toward indicting the entire endeavor. When we only argue for X person due to their qualities/unique story, we risk making it impossible to liberate folks who don't come across "warm & fuzzy."
