Ok. But one caveat. Many people who have been labelled "junkies" at some point in their lives, have pulled themselves together and accomplished great things through perseverance and hard work.

I tried to read this book because I do find the idea of the body recording memory in fascia compelling, but I am often frustrated with the way that pop psychology on trauma focus primarily on early adverse experiences versus somebody who may not have experienced abuse until adulthood
