in the 2016 movie "rosalie blum", the titular character has these polish pottery mugs, mismatched. i also have some, also mismatched. i think it's supposed to convey a bohemian easy-going-ness, but it's just very hard to find the same mug design twice. good movie, kind of amelie-ish.

one of the people in the apartment building across the street has their shades completely drawn and some kind of periodically changing light in their living room. i don't know what it is, maybe a karaoke thing. the light is making me very sad. a nice event wouldn't have that.

those shows or movies where the lighting is so dim you can't tell what is going on made me much more open to audio dramas.

i was in bed with some stomach thing for a few days, but it made me realize how little household garbage i create when i sleep that much. i'm not buying anything either. imagine how much less we'd buy or consume if we slept for 12 or 16 hours instead of the 8 hours we're allowed.

a few days later i used 9/11 as the excuse to cancel a job interview i did not want to do.
my favorite memory from 9/11 showing up to work and a woman was making a big deal about how her adult son knew the height of the buildings. real mamba mentality to see that opening to sneak in some p.r. for your kid.
