The r-word is just a way for people to equate a mental disability with stupidity. It's punching disabled people into a box to put them down. It's bashing people to their face by insulting disabled people behind their backs. It's wrong and I'm tired of pretending it's OK around my friends.

I'm growing tired of people and tech videos complaining about a lack of cables in the box. Like yeah you'll have to "buy a cable for it," or you could use any of the dozen USB C cables you have laying around from your other products. Enough things still ship with cables, you have cables, it's fine.

Experienced literal pronoun erasure today lmao. I wrote my name and pronouns on the whiteboard and left them there, but I came back later to return a pen to the teacher in the room and noticed somebody had rewritten my pronouns. So I guess a student had erased it and another added them back?

The state of printers (being a buggy, messy capitalistic hellscape) is so goddamn funny because like, what do you mean the printing press is over 500 years old? What do you mean the modern versions don't work? Lol.

I know words from foreign languages aren't easy for most people, but it's at its worst in my daily life when I see others try Japanese words. Well, "try" is a little too strong for what actually happens. They just smash the letters together. It's a little unsettling. Surely trying isn't that hard?

I remember once when I was a kid, I read that music tuned to 432 Hz was supposed to be good. Validity of that statement aside, I didn't know what I was doing so to experiment with it I opened a song up in Audacity... and turned the *sample rate* to 432 Hz.

Silly jokes in the subtitles on a YouTube video are funny and all but every time I see them I wonder if it interferes with someone's accessibility needs somehow.
