There are many advocates that need to stop defending e-motos as if they're bicycles. The longer we pretend this scrutiny is unwarranted, the more damage it does to actual e-bikes, which are legitimate tools enabling people to safely and affordably ditch their cars.
folks i love e bikes but this is bullshit, this thing can go well over 30mph. idc that it has pedals, this shit is a motor vehicle, it should require license plates and a license to operate, and has no place in bike lanes, foh
