#pnefc PH/SM leaving. I'm glad but I hate the turmoil that these things cause the club. This season has been woeful but many forget the awful last 2 months of last season when we plummeted. This season has really been a continuation of that decline and has been aggravated by staff ins and outs. COYW

Morning chaps, sorry I can't be there. Sadly we don't have a Baxi boiler anymore the Bosch was cheaper and better reviews 😕 but the only PNE shirt of 4 still fits. Still crazy after all these years. COYW #pnefc

Promising signs from new arrivals Mills and Wiley #pnefc but incompetent finishing and slapstick defending meant another capitulation. Panic buying/loaning reeks of too little too late IMO. PH seems in denial about our defensive frailty and new blood may not gel quickly enough to save him. Amen.

I'm trying to identify an old expression used by my mother (born in Devon in the 1920s, daughter of a woman from Co Cork). It sounded like 'bay horses and meddlers' or 'bay horses for medlars'. She used it to describe someone whose plans were unrealistic/overambitious. Anyone recognise this saying?"

#pnefc lost 0-2 to #wbafc after encouraging win v Charlton. Paul Heckingbottom as ever tortured and ambiguous appeared to criticise the players. Well glory be. Individually & collectively we did not compete. Impossible to single out a player who had a good game. Shocking and embarassing

Less concerned about #PNEFC defeat at Coventry. Two soft goals and a pen is tough against anyone but versus top of the league team made it insurmountable. Lack of confidence evident all round the park but it will return with a win. We're better than this.

#pnefc oh dear more of the same from dire PNE v Oxford. Now very firmly in relegation mode and dropping down the Champ like a stone. Our best XI for decades can't play together, can't defend and don't look too bothered to me.

#pnefc another lacklustre performance in 0-2 defeat v Millwall who always wanted the ball more and found their men with it. Arguably our strongest squad for years continue to turn the season around the wrong way. Tough to draw positives from this but some folk are paid to do just that
