It's the little things that get you. The food bowls that are no longer there. The leash hanging by the door.

Remember your pet mattered. Your relationship mattered, and your love for them mattered.

If you need support, Pet Grief Pathfinder is here to help. ❤️

Your grief is your own. It changes in its own time. You deserve space to process your grief without someone telling you to "get over it".

That's what I do. I witness your grief and companion you along its path.

It's called a grief burst. Like a sudden thunderstorm, but with grief.

You may have a good day. Then suddenly, a memory surfaces and the grief rushes back.

If you're feeling lost, I'm here. You don't have to figure it all out by yourself. 🐾❤️

Healing from pet loss doesn't mean forgetting your pet. Find a meaningful way to honor the relationship you shared. Part of my role as a grief coach is to help you find something that feels meaningful to you. How would you like to honor your pet?

Holidays without your pet can be tough and filled with memories. One of the hardest parts of pet grief can be feeling like other people don’t understand.

If grief is a struggle for you right now, I offer compassionate coaching to help you find a path forward.

What is one little thing your pet did that you never want to forget?

Share yours if you feel comfortable.

Telling these stories helps us remember that our relationship with our pets was so much more than the day we lost them.

You don't have to "move on" for their comfort. Take time to grieve on your own terms.

At Pet Grief Pathfinder, I believe you deserve space to process your loss without being rushed.

If you’re struggling with pet loss, send me a message.

Grief shows up in the smallest moments.

Today, instead of telling yourself, “I should be over this,” try: “Of course I miss them. They mattered.”

Give yourself permission to feel what you feel.

If you need support, Pet Grief Pathfinder is here to help. ❤️

My mom commented to me once that she never knew lizards had such big personalities. Any beardie parent will tell you that's the case. Snake caretakers talk about the different personalities of their companions. Our non-furry family members deserve the same grief support, don't you think?

My life is filled with purrs and nickers. (And stares from the bearded dragons.) I can't imagine what it would be like to sleep without a cat or three curled up next to me, or to be whinnied at every morning. Those are moments that ache when you lose a pet. I can help at petgriefpathfinder.com

I became a pet grief specialist because animals are important to me. They have been so much more than companions and constants in my world as I am in theirs. Big love means big grief. If you'd like to be supported check out petgriefpathfinder.com

It is better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved at all. Lord Tennyson penned that sentiment in the 1850, but I find it still holds true for me, and for many others today. It's hard to love. #PetGrief #PetLoss #WhyGrief

Don't let anyone tell you that your grief isn't valid or that it isn't real. A recent UK study has shown that pet loss can be even more strongly grieved than other types of losses. Take all the time you need. Reach out for support. You are not alone.

It's common to experience anger or frustration after the loss of a pet, especially if it was sudden. But playing "what if" in your mind isn't going to help and may make the grief worse. Give yourself grace. Understand that you did the best you could with what you knew at the moment.
