Fulfilled a lifetime ambition tonight when I heard the Berlin Philharmonic play live for the first time. Outstanding. So many highlights, brilliant soloists throughout the orchestra, but I will never forget the warmth of the string sound in the Elgar and the Horn section in Tchaikovsky 4!!

Magical afternoon at the #EdinburghInternationalFestval Anita Weilerstein performing the complete cello suites as part of Bach to Bach day. Wonderful playing, she held the audience spellbound for three hours.
