LA is HOT. But does it have to be this hot?

Did you know shade from a single tree can drop temps by 20° or more? Yet working-class neighborhoods like South LA, East LA, and the Valley get the least tree coverage and bear the brunt of extreme heat. Let's finally cool things down for everyone.

Genuinely an insane paragraph from Sam Alito. “Voter fraud is real and scary and we have to stop it, so the fact that implementing Trump’s mail ballot rule will disenfranchise millions is legally irrelevant.” Brain melted. A right-wing podcaster in a robe. www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/25p...

Though it seems clear that the destruction of the East Wing and its replacement with a 90,000-square foot ballroom atop a new military bunker is illegal, the court’s Republican appointees have cleared the way for its completion.

All, that is, but one.
It’s just too late for John Roberts to say he doesn't like Trump’s ballroom

BREAKING:

After the Washington Post fired me last year for speaking the truth in the wake of the Charlie Kirk killing, I fought back.

And I'm happy to announce: I won my case against the Washington Post.

They have been ordered to reinstate me immediately.

Some people are inherently inferior isn’t a neutral view point.
On here though it is impossible to make a defense of viewpoint neutral academic freedom without getting mobbed by Portes fanboys saying you’re a racist right winger. So I’m off.

Correct.

Scrutinize the recruitment and ongoing failure to mentor and oversee that he attended to his post doc duties.
I had not some across this before, but if you want an example Nathan Cofnas’ scholarship, this is a doozy. Again I say, being sacked is not the problem; being recruited in the first place is what deserves scrutiny.

I do not think Jefferies is the right leader.

I also do not trust the NYTimes to describe this meeting neutrally.

I fully expect it to be slanted negatively.

There are sub-amendment fixes that could yield substantial benefit and we should try several of them:
1) Wyoming rule the house
2) Admit DC & PR as states
3) Expand SCOTUS
4) Strip SCOTUS of jurisdictions (and/or modify its composition)

It's a start. Amendments sure would help, though.

Clearly Sam Altman’s carnival barking works.
You are going off of literal press releases for the story. Is it really so hard to see why people are skeptical when the details are so vague and the amounts of money that ride on the hype being true are so large?
